Luke Hurley is an independent New Zealand guitarist and singer-songwriter, who works mostlyout side the confines of the music industry. He was born in Kenya, and later moved with his family to Gore in Southland, New Zealand when aged 12.
He is now based in Auckland, and has toured with artists such as Michelle Shocked and Marianne Faithfull but is more likely to be found at fringe festivals and busking.

From July 2008 to Jan 2009 Luke was on an extended tour of Europe which included performing in Ireland, UK, France and Sweden. In March 2014 Luke was invited to play in Denmark so he used the opportunity to also play briefly in Berlin – Germany, Bergen – Norway and a return visit to London.

This SOZO performance is a rare chance to experience someone better known in Europe than in hishome country of New Zealand
