Our Story

Our Work In India

Sozo means ‘Freedom’, more precise its Saved, Healed and delivered but Freedom will do nicely.  It is our desire that your cup of coffee gives you a moment of this ‘Freedom’. More than that we want your ‘moment of freedom’ to provide Freedom to those still trapped in poverty so our little Coffee Shop 100% funds a children’s home our family helped build in India (2008).

Meet the crew

What a team we have… Ben on the coffee machine just can’t help but churn out one great coffee after another.  He couldn’t do it though if Chris doesn’t lovingly roast the beans just so…. not to mention the fantastic Kate who continues to produce our ‘Simple Eats’ menu to satisfy your hunger pains.
